It is a general-purpose magnetic mount H-Cell made of two chambers 15-20 ml each, separated with disposable Nafion perfluorinated ion-exchange membrane. The cell is made of PEEK and it is designed to accommodate thin film working electrode deposited on a flexible or rigid substrate of 25 mm x 25 mm, as well as reference and counter electrode (metal wire, gauze, non-metal porous electrode or thin film). The cell is equipped with gas/fluid inlet and outlet.
The cell has been designed for proof-of-the-concept studies for applications such as liquid fuel cell, electrolyzer, redox flow batteries or in any other application or characterization where electrochemical products appearing at counter electrode need to be separated from working electrode.
